Mark Sumpter, CEO & Principal Qualitative Research Consultant

Mark Sumpter is the founder and CEO of Consumer Link Moderating & Research Consulting, Inc., and has worked as a professional Qualitative Research Consultant for nearly 10 years.  Prior to that, Mark gained over 15 years of quantitative and qualitative market research management experience working for leading consumer goods companies.  He started his career with the Procter & Gamble Company as a member of the dish care and home care innovation teams before joining the Alberto Culver Company where he was responsible for managing skin care and hair care innovation research.  Mark has attained valuable research experience conducting category explorations, new product ideation sessions, concept and product development, corporate and brand positioning, imagery research, advertising copy refinement, and package design research.

Mark’s strengths lie in his ability to work with your team as a partner.  By working as a partner with you, he is able to provide insights that represent consumers and recommendations which best reflect your business needs.

Mark is a proud and active member of the Qualitative Research Consultants Association (QRCA – www.qrca.org) and serves on the QRCA Executive Committee as Treasurer of the Board.  From 2011 - 2012 he served as QRCA Sponsorship Committee Chair and Co-Chair of the Chicago QRCA chapter.
